The price includes accommodation and breakfast.

Pets

Sorry, we do not allow pets inside the house.  By special arrangement we will allow dogs to stay, providing that they sleep in their owner’s car and are kept on a lead at all times when outside the car.   

Smoking

Our farm is a non-smoking site. Should anyone wish to smoke they would have to venture to the bottom of the drive!!

Booking Confirmation & Deposit

We aim to keep this as simple as possible. Please use the contact form on the booking page of our website, telephone us or send us an email to discuss the date(s) you wish to stay. Once we have agreed dates, the rooms are yours with no need for a deposit.

We will then send you a booking form to be filled in, please, and returned to us. Then everything will be confirmed by email or letter.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking due to adverse weather conditions or exceptional family circumstances, we are happy to transfer your booking to another date, if at all possible. Please contact us to discuss.

We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would, however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation.  If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 4.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged.

Please remember that this is a working farm.  At certain times of the year we cannot guarantee to be in the house when you arrive – lambing time in particular. However, we will not be far away and our dogs will always tell us that you have arrived!

It is much appreciated if you can notify us of your estimated time of arrival, but not essential.

Room vacation on day of departure

Please vacate your room by 10.30am, unless otherwise arranged.

Payment

Please make your payment after breakfast on the last day of your stay. 

Damages and Breakages

Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

It would be very much appreciated if you would leave outdoor shoes, particularly muddy walking boots and wellington boots, in the front porch.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Privacy Policy

Any information collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer for the year that you stayed with us and then it will be deleted.  We will not share your details with any third party.

House Rules

We really do not have any house rules as such, as we assume our guests will respect that this is our home. However, we do ask that you do not walk through our house in your walking boots, please, even if it has been dry. If you could also be aware that very wet outdoor shoes will cause marks on our carpets and remove them as necessary, that would be much appreciated.
