our recent farm open day.

The day began with refreshments on arrival at Shoulsbarrow Farmhouse and we got straight down to the intricacies of making a sugarcraft centrepiece for our Christmas cakes. We were given a delicious Shoulsbry Farmhouse lunch after the morning session and the day ended with tea and homemade cake. We had a fun day learning, creating and nattering.
A donation has been made to the North Devon Hospice.
Dark Skies Singalong, Quiz and Sky Gazing Farm Event – Wednesday 18th October 2023
Amanda and Gary gave us an uplifting evening of fun and laughter, singing along to some dark sky related songs and a quiz, again with a dark sky theme. We got the chance to sit in the cosy farm barn surrounded by their friendly traditional and rare breed livestock and horses.
Hot drinks and sausage in a roll were very well-received on a cloudy Exmoor evening.

Thank you both for such a wonderful evening. It was so atmospheric singing amongst your beautiful, obviously well loved, animals and in such a special place. An evening I’ll always remember. Thank you!

Beading a Christmas bauble – Friday 29th September 2023
The day began with refreshments on arrival at Shoulsbarrow Farmhouse and we were then shown how to thread the beads and use our imagination to create different patterns with all the different types of beads. It really is easier than it looks. We enjoyed a delicious Shoulsbry Farmhouse lunch and the day ended with tea and homemade cake.
